Confirmation

Recently a pack was sent out with all the dates and requirements for Confirmation this year. 

If you are unable to make it to any of these dates, please tell your child's homeroom teacher. In addition, a letter from the Parish and form to be returned was also sent home. Please return this form to the school by the due date.

 

We pray for our Grade 6 confirmation candidates as they prepare for this special milestone in their faith journey.

PRAYER FOR CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES

Lord, You send out Your Spirit to touch the hearts of all people, so that they may believe in You and in Jesus whom You sent. 

Look kindly on all candidates for Confirmation as they listen to Your voice. 

Open their hearts to Your Spirit and bring to fulfillment the good work that You have begun in them.

 As we prepare these children for Confirmation, make each of us an instrument of Your love. Teach us to appreciate what is holy in others, and to be patient with what we do not understand. 

Deepen our faith in the Gospel and help us to pass it on by our example. 

We pray that You will continue to guide us and sustain us. 

Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Junior Prayer and Pyjama night

On Wednesday evening our Junior school students participated in a Prayer and PJ evening. It was lovely to see so many families praying together in many different ways.

 

Mini Vinnies

This Term Mini Vinnies are focused on raising awareness of the retail component of St Vincent De Paul. They are learning about how supporting Op Shops is not only good for the environment, the money spent goes back into the community to support Vinnies programs.

Next Term Mini Vinnies will continue to support the JPC soup van. We are also planning a contribution to the Market for Missions day.
