Christmas Giving at St Pius X College

The Christmas season is fast approaching and it is a time where we are able to live our spirituality espoused by Blessed Edmund Rice – most notably a spirituality about concern for those on the margins. While it would be wonderful to be able to help all those experiencing disadvantage, it is just not practical. St Pius X College has long running relationships with many communities, and these will be continued with our planned Christmas giving.

Each year group has been given the responsibility to provide for and support a particular organisation that looks to provide dignity to those experiencing disadvantage. Each student has been or will be addressed regarding their responsibility for 2021. The attached document provides an outline of the Christmas Giving program by year group. All of our community are asked to support these worthy organisations with donations of goods so that others may experience the Christmas season themselves.

Further clarification will be provided to each year group during timetabled Religious Education lessons.
