Meet the Staff - Garth Hardwick

What is your role at Concord School?

The Physical Education teacher.

Provide us with a ‘snapshot’ into your daily routine at Concord School:

I will commence the day by addressing any messages or emails. Followed by organising the day's PE equipment and conducting the day’s lessons. Some days, I will have additional responsibilities such as yard duty or staff meetings.

What do you love most about working at Concord School?

Meeting and getting to know our students and engaging them to get active.

Favourite Food: Thai Food.

Favourite Movie/TV Show: Rake, starring Richard Roxburgh.

Favourite music: 90s Rock/Grunge.

Things I dislike the most: Traffic

Hidden Talent or Something We May Not Know About You: I am new(ish) to trail running, and I’m currently training to complete my first 50km ultra-marathon in November.

Favourite Sporting Team/Athlete: I don’t have any favourites, but I enjoy watching athletes at their peak in their sport.

If You Could Pick Any 3 People as Dinner Guests, Who Would They Be and Why?

My grandfathers and their fathers. They had lived through so much of Australia’s modern history that hearing and learning their stories would be fascinating.
