Term 2
Happy Education Week! It’s been wonderful to see our students and staff celebrating the theme Active Learners: Move, Make, Motivate. Some of our SRC representatives met parents at the gate for Open Morning at Bundoora campus on Monday, we acknowledged our fabulous ES staff on Tuesday for Education Support Day, Lower Primary hosted a fantastic Open Morning on Thursday and we are finishing the week with an out of uniform day organised by the SRC with the theme of Active Wear for Active Learners!!
Concord School Beanies!
Last year the SRC put forward a motion that Concord School should have a beanie as part of our uniform. Following to process of getting samples, voting on our preferred design and getting the beanies approved by School Council, we are so happy to say that you can all now purchase a Concord School beanie from our uniform shop for $25!
Pride Club is BACK!

This will be an inclusive space for students to make new friends and hang out during lunch.

National Reconciliation Week and National Sorry Day
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. This week runs from 27th of May to 3rd of June.
Every year on 26 May, National Sorry Day remembers and acknowledges the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, which we now know as ‘The Stolen Generations’.
Please find below the links for the events via the Banyule Council website or attached as PDF’s for sharing purposes.
