Year 7 Volleyball 

SSV Eureka Year 7 Volleyball 

On Monday 7th August BHS took 3 sides (Year 7 Boys, Year 7 Girls A & Year 7 Girls B) to the SSV Eureka Year 7 Volleyball competition at the Daylesford Secondary College under the guidance of the Daylesford Volleyball Association.

The Year 7 Boys team had a tough day out coming up against some quality opposition in a deep competition. The team had a fun day out and will look to improve their skills when they return next year for the Year 8 Boys competition.

The Year 7B Girls team were unable to qualify for the finals against Daylesford A and Woodmans Hill. The Year 7A Girls team managed to win a place into the Grand Final against the Daylesford A team. The girls put up a great fight but ultimately couldn’t get the momentum going to win the match.

All the teams had a great day out playing a sport that isn’t very familiar to many of them. We hope they all decide to play again next year and in the BAS After School Sports team.
