SSV Junior Girls Football State Quarterfinal 

On Monday 7th August the BHS Junior Girls Football team qualified for the SSV Junior Girls Football State Quarterfinals at Alfredton Oval, Ballarat. The winner of this match would progress to the SSV State Semi-Final which was played on the same day.

The team was very excited, with some competing in their first ever SSV State Final! The team came up against a quality team in Diamond Valley College. At half time the BHS team was up by 7 points in a great team display. Unfortunately, from here some missed opportunities and a significant improvement from the Diamond Valley team saw BHS go down by 12 points and miss out on a place in the semi-final match.

Coach Jasmine Kawa said the team had a fun day out and the future of girl’s football at BHS is looking strong.
