Bus Travel for New Enrolments in 2022

 

In preparation for new student’s travelling by bus to school in 2022, please refer to the following information.

 

The Victorian Government provides free/subsidised travel for all Victorian Country Students residing 4.8km or more from their nearest school of that kind.

 

The attached leaflet will help explain the School Bus Program and assist you in determining your child’s eligibility to travel on a school bus. 

 

 

If you reside outside the township of Echuca, your child will be on a country bus. 

 

Application forms for all Victorian country school bus travellers need to be submitted to the school no later than Tuesday 21st September 2021. 

 

Please select the correct form from the following:

 

 

If your child will be travelling on the town bus network (blue and yellow bus) residing more than 4.8km from St Josephs, you are entitled to a conveyance bus pass. Conveyance Allowance Application Forms will be available in the new year. The school will send out further details at the beginning of Term 1 2022.

 

Students residing in town under 4.8km to St Joseph’s can travel on an Echuca town bus, you do not need a bus pass but you must pay $1.20 each way. Please note, due to current lockdown restrictions, no visitors are allowed on site, all forms must be sent via email or posted to the school,  21 Dickson Street Echuca.

All NSW students need to apply for a bus pass via the NSW Trasport website. This can be done at any stage.
