Echuca Moama Rocks!

After a long 18 months of Covid-19 lockdowns impacting our border towns, Echuca Regional Health's Wellbeing and Primary Mental Health department want to acknowledge that our community rocks!

#Rocktober aims to reconnect Echuca and Moama, celebrating what brings us together as a strong and inclusive community, and bringing some joy and adventure to our daily lives throughout October through creativity, physical activity and connection.

The idea of the project is to DECORATE, HIDE & FIND the rocks!

A number of St Joseph's classes have been painting rocks & promoting their designs on the school social media. Students have been working incredibly hard on their designs and we are incredibly impressed with their talents!

Once the rocks are completed they are being hidden out in the Echuca Moama community in places they will likely be found (e.g. parks, walking tracks, community spaces).

If you find one of the painted rocks in our community, please take a photo of it and promote it on social media using the following hashtags;

#EchucaRegionalHealth #EchucaMoamaRocks #Rocktober

Then, deliver it back to Echuca Regional Health (Kinsey House Medical Consulting Suites) and place it in the drop box so that it can be included in the rock mandala which will be made in early November by the Community Inclusion group.
