It is being offered during the holidays at Fed Uni's Berwick Campus - so it is local.

TRY-A-TRADE DAY

Cranbourne Secondary College students have once again attended the yearly South East Career Expo (Try-a-Trade) at Cranbourne Racecourse, on Tuesday 2 May.

Students from Year 9 used this time to investigate a range of career pathways as part of their Learning Journeys subject. 

The Expo has a strong emphasis on “hands on” activities and these showcase the wide and varied range of courses that are available in the TAFE and vocational education system. 

All Cranbourne SC students from Years 9 – 12 have a Career Action Plan where they record their ongoing career investigations and plans for their future pathways.

SENIOR SCHOOL DANCE

The annual Senior Formal Dance this year was held on 15 June 2017 at the Sandhurst Club.  The event was attended by approximately 20 staff and 270 students, all of whom owe thanks to Ms Heidi Gunn for her accomplished organisation of this enjoyable evening. 

 The occasion was an excellent opportunity for ladies to exhibit some of the finer components of their wardrobe and for gentlemen to express their interests. 

Dancing is also an activity that can serve to enlighten people on one aspect of cultures different from their own, and so to learn from those other cultures.  It is an enjoyable way to take part in a different way of life and so develop an appreciation for those lifestyles.
