TRIVIA GALA - THIS SATURDAY 28TH JULY
Two Sleeps! Just two more sleeps until our annual fundraiser the Trivia Night Gala. This is our opportunity to all be involved in raising money to support the education of all our children. Even if you are unable to come on the evening you are able to bid in the silent auction that is online. This has become quite an addictive pass time for many this week and there are many a bargain to be had!
If you are one of the lucky ones to be coming to the evening please remember arrive on time at 6:30pm so our Trivia Master can get the evening under way and bring coins and smaller notes for games. Remember this is a fundraiser!

Class Dojo Reminders
There will be reminders about the Trivia Night Gala on Class Dojo throughout Saturday. Parents who may not wish to receive these can turn off their notifications for Class Dojo on their device.
How it works:
Simply click on the link above. Create an account and bid away. You will be notified if you are outbid and this is where it becomes addictive and competitive! The on-line auction closes at 9:45pm on Saturday 28th July during the Trivia Night Gala. You will receive some friendly Dojo reminders on Saturday to keep bidding!
The Fine Print:
Payment:
Once the auction finishes, the winning bidder is emailed an invoice. There are then 2 options:
1. You can pay with your credit card on your phone and will receive a receipt.
2. You can process your payment on the night through the eftpos machines available (this actually saves us some money doing it this way!)
Once you have a receipt you will be able to show that to our volunteer parents and collect your item on the night!
But what if I am not at the Trivia Night Gala you ask?
If you are the winning bidder you will receive notification that you won and can make payment on your phone using the online auction site (credit card).
Collection of your items (and eftpos payment) can be made at school in the office the following week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 8:45-9am and afternoons from 3:25-3:40pm. If you can not make these times you will need to contact the Events Committee at events@gsmelbournesth.catholic.edu.au or phone Emma on 0424188758 to make alternative arrangements.

BUNNINGS BBQ - SATURDAY 11 AUGUST
The Bunnings BBQ is coming up on the 11 August and a huge thank you to the Year 3’s who are taking charge of this event. This is a fundraiser where we are able to tap into the wider community to raise funds. It would be great to see as many of our Galilee families popping along on the day to support the Year 3’s and buy a sausage!
