Uniform Code Clarification: Shorts
Terms 1 & 4: The new style, dark navy, unisex shorts by Tara may be worn by any student. Only boys may wear the old style JFE shorts unless an exemption has been granted.
Terms 2 & 3: Tara Unisex shorts may be worn by any Primary student but may not be worn with tights. Secondary students may not wear shorts with their winter uniform.
Music Uniform Update 2022
There are two styles of Jacket available: a female jacket and a unisex jacket. The unisex style of jacket, previously only worn by boys, may now be worn by students of either sex. This change will provide us with a wider sizing range for both sexes and make it feasible for families with children of each sex in Music ensembles to hand the item down within the family.
Term 1 Special Orders: Rowing & Music
Thank you to all the parents who placed their orders for Rowing Zoot suits and Music Uniform Jackets before yesterday’s deadline. If you missed the deadline, please send an email to Paula Hackett at the Uniform Shop as soon as possible to discuss adding your size to the order. You are not committed to purchasing the uniform if your child has a change of heart, but we may not be able to provide one in the best size for your child if it is not included in the order now.
Term 1 Special Orders: Primary Acrylic Jumpers - Friday 18 February
We offer acrylic jumpers for children cannot wear wool. Please bring your child in for sizing or send us an email with your request: we can guess your size based on your past purchases. You are not committed to purchasing the jumper if you change your mind, but if your request is not submitted with our main order your jumper will cost more and take longer to arrive. The order will be placed next Friday 18 February to ensure delivery before the cooler weather.
Online Orders
If you can’t make it to the shop during our opening hours and you already know (or can guess) your child's sizes, you are welcome to complete the online order form below and email it to uniformshop@johnxxiii.edu.au. A link to our pricelist with sizes has also been included for your convenience. All orders can be collected by you or your child from the Uniform Shop during opening hours (8am to 12 noon every weekday) or delivered directly to your child's Primary Classroom or Secondary Homeroom. With recent COVID changes, the option of parents collecting orders from Primary Administration. Please specify your pick-up or delivery preferences when emailing your order.
