From the Director of Boarding

Mr Luke Morrissey

Dear Parents, Carers and Guardians,

I continually pray that you are all happy and healthy at this difficult time. I would like to thank the entire Boarding community for your continued support and understanding as we navigate this pandemic together. In addition, I thank your sons for the positive way in which they continue to approach their online learning.

A particular congratulations to our Year 12 students who have now completed their final assessments tasks. We are looking forward to welcoming them back next term.

COVID-19 Update

As you are aware a lot of information is provided to the College daily. The date we are currently working towards for the return of students is 25 October (Year 12), 1 November (Year 11) and 8 November (Year 7 to 10). Obviously, there is a lot of time between now and then. As the dates get closer and more information is known, I will be reaching out to you, for your feedback on the safe return of your sons, and the processes we implement.

2022 Leaders

We recently concluded our process for selecting our 2022 College Leaders. I would like to congratulate the following students on their selection:

Ben Kelly (Wagga Wagga) – Boarding Captain

Cooper Cross (Boorowa) – Year 11 Leader

Patrick Davis (Harden) – Year 10 Leader

Charlie Guymer (Temora) – Year 9 Leader

Trae Fitzpatrick (Bathurst) – Year 8 Leader

Tom Fletcher (Coonamble) – Year 7 Leader

I would also like to acknowledge and thank our current Year 12 leaders: Lachlan McGufficke, Matt Canellis, Sam Corkhill, Ben Elworthy, Jack Rule and Sipiliano Vaohea. These leaders have done a wonderful job under difficult circumstances, and I thank them for their contribution to the improvement of the Boarding community.

 Communication

Just a reminder to continue to check in on our blogs. The Boarding Coordinators are continuously updating them with relevant information and handy resources.

Kind regards,
