Upcoming Events

Over the next few weeks, we wish our students the best of luck in the following activities:

Week 9, Term 3 – Week 1, Term 4 - Year 11 Final Assessments

Stage 6 Course Selection

Students in Year 10 have now completed their course selection preferences. Over the next weeks, the College will use student preferences to determine which courses will be offered next year and the lines on which each course will be offered. Early next term, students will receive their course offers for 2022.

Thank you to Year 10 parents and carers for your involvement in the process.

Stage 5 Elective Selection

Electives Selection: Monday 13 September

Year 8 parents, carers and students attended our Stage 5 Electives Information Evening last week.

Already, over 100 students have entered their preferences for Stage 5 Electives. Elective preferences close on Monday 13 September at 8.40am. Preferences can be made on our Digital Web Preferences Application. Students have been sent an individualised email to enter their preferences.

Years 11 and 12 Final Assessments

Date: Monday 13 September – Friday 8 October

Over the last two weeks, Year 12 students have been completing their HSC Final Assessments. Students are to be commended for their diligent and conscientious approach to the tasks. Parents and carers were also instrumental in their support of the process and their sons’.

Now that Year 12 students have completed their tasks, our Year 11 students will begin their assessments. During Week 9 of this term and Week 1 of next term, students will complete assessments in each of their courses instead of the usual Final Preliminary Course Examinations.

Years 7 – 10 Assessments

During the lockdown, it is important for the College to continue conducting assessments in Years 7 – 10 because it provides us with a clearer understanding of our students’ progress during online learning. Tasks that students complete will be tailored to suit online learning and will help teachers to bridge gaps in student understanding. As occurred before remote learning, students receive assessment notifications for each task via email. Students and parents can also see the due dates for all tasks on Sentral.
