House Captain's Report

Sports Report

Athletics day: 

On Wednesday and Thursday this week, the Grades 3-6 competed in our schools Athletic’s day. The Grades 3 and 4’s on Wednesday and Grade’s 5 and 6 on Thursday. They competed in field events such as triple jump, long jump, discus, shot put and high jump and track events such as 100m sprint, hurdles and an 800m run. Everyone who participated received house points to their house’s overall score, while people who finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd get extra house points to the total. There was a Spirit of Athletics Award on offer for each boy and girl from each age group, voted by the teachers, which also received extra house points towards the overall total. These student were voted by displaying WVPS values of Respect, Responsibility and Honesty. The winners of Age Group Champions, Spirit of Athletics Award and the overall House points Champion will be announced next Monday at Assembly.

                   Athletics, Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th -  Grades 3,4,5 and 6.

Division Hockey: 

The Grade 6 Hockey team won the District Hockey competition and progressed to the Division Hockey competition where they finished 1st place. The Hockey team will now move on to Regionals. Great work to:
