We have a number of policies on our school website. This is your first port of call should you have a query.

                                         Our Grade 1 Swimming Program

In Term 3, the grade 1 students have been learning all about safety in and around water.

During week 3 and into week 4, our wonderful grade 1 classes went to Aquapulse on their very first swimming lessons with their school friends.

We learned the theory around water safety in our classrooms, then we were placed into ability groups to use vital water skills.

We had the opportunity to practise lots of fun activities at the pool, including how to safely enter and exit the pool for our beginning swimmers, and refining our swim strokes for those advancing. We loved the pool!

                                                         Problem Solving in 0SN

Students in 0SN have been learning how to apply their mathematical skills during our problem-solving lessons. In these lessons students are posed a question, use strategies to explore and solve the problem and build upon their mathematical knowledge and reasoning skills.

There were 7 dinosaurs. Some lived on land and some lived in the water.

                                                       What could this look like?
