During the holidays, several of our students competed in National Championship events, and we extend our congratulations to them for their impressive performances and subsequent selections among the top competitors in the country.
The largest annual event on the Swimming Australia calendar, the Australian Age Swimming Championships attracted thousands of athletes and spectators to the Gold Coast and we congratulate our swimmers on their selection and performances at the championships.

This week sees Poppy competing in the Open Australian Swimming Championships on the Gold Coast. Furthermore, Poppy has been selected in the Queensland Swimming Talent ID Squad and will attend workshops and targeted development programs throughout the season.
WAG Gymnastics Queensland Senior State Championships and State Team Trial
After an incredible QGSSSA Gymnastics Championships many of our gymnasts went on to compete at the Gymnastics Queensland Senior State Championships and State Team Trial showcasing their talent.
The event included National and International level athletes competing for the title of Queensland State Champion.
We extend congratulations to Isabella who has been selected on the Senior International Queensland Team and Lindsay on the Queensland State Team L9 to compete at the Australian Gymnastics Championships in May on the Gold Coast.
Congratulations also goes to the following girls on their Queensland Border Challenge

2023 Chemist Warehouse Australian Junior Track and Field Championships
We congratulate Chloe Noon on her outstanding achievement at the recent Australian Junior Track and Field Championships, recognising the consistent effort and preparation taken to perform at this level. Chloe finished 15th in the U17 2000m Steeplechase.
