Staff Announcements
Our Director of Marketing, Communications and Engagement, Stuart Charlton, will be finishing at the end of Term 2, with his last day being Friday 23 June. Stuart will continue to lead the Engagement team and its projects in Term 2 as well as assisting in the transitional arrangements into Term 3. I thank Stuart for the contribution he has made to the College during his time here.
Emma Dixon (currently the Enrolments Manager) has been appointed as Acting Director of Marketing, Communications and Engagement. Emma has a breadth of experience in business development, marketing and philanthropy and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy)/Bachelor of Laws, as well as post-graduate qualifications in Legal Practice and Integrated Marketing Communications. She has also been admitted as a legal practitioner. Within the education sector, Emma was the Development Manager at Somerville House, before joining our College’s Enrolments and Marketing team. Emma is also an Old Collegian and current parent, and is eager to continue the momentum with the College’s strategic direction. Emma will commence her new role in June.
Jazz on the Green - Call for Sponsors
Clayfield College’s famous Jazz on the Green event will happen on Sunday 6 August this year. We are currently looking for sponsors at various levels who want to support a wonderful community event as well as receive valuable marketing, promotional and hospitality benefits. IT Improvements
The College will be making a number of IT improvements in coming months to improve security and the online experience of our parents and students.
The first improvement is to change the sign-in for Parent Lounge from a Parent Code to your personal email address. This email sign-in will also provide a single sign-on in future months to seamlessly access a number of Clayfield College systems.
An email will be sent to all parents next week with more information and dates. No action is required from parents at this stage. You will be fully advised about “go live” dates and instructions in coming weeks.

A friendly reminder of care instruction for the uniforms:
The collars of the girls summer and winter blouses must not be ironed with a hot iron. Low heat or maybe use a tea towel or hanky in between, as the interfacing in the collar does not like heat. This also means the dryer is not an option either.
The Winter ties also have a type of delicate interfacing. It is better for these to be sponged clean if needed.
I hope these tips help keep your uniforms looking new.
