Opus 1 - Save the Date
Our annual Opus 1 and Opus 2 are coming up and we can’t wait to showcase our 2023 Music Ensembles!
Please note the following groups for each concert:
Opus 1, Thursday 4 May 6:00pm: Avanti, Campo delle Voci, Junior String Quartet, Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Viotti Strings, Vivo Strings
Opus 2, Thursday 18 May 6:00pm: Allegria, Big Band, Canzona, Ciao Bella, Corelli Strings, Dance Troup, Paganini Strings, Piccolo Choir, Wind Orchestra
Performance uniforms are required for the following ensembles: Big Band, Canzona, Ciao Bella, Paganini Strings, Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Viotti Strings and Wind Orchestra. All other groups are to wear the formal school uniform. As we are still waiting for the new uniforms to arrive in our Uniform Shop, we would ask new students to come to the Music office to try on our spare uniforms for loan. Gold hair ribbons are available for purchase at the Uniform Shop.

If anyone has any ideas or items to donate such as wine, chocolates, gift vouchers for the concert, please contact the Music department at music@clayfield.qld.edu.au or feel free to drop items to the Music office during business hours. Many thanks for your consideration and support.

Congratulations to Mrs Saskia Greasley (nee Testa) who was married over the holidays! May this joyous occasion mark the beginning of a new journey full of adventures, laughter and endless happiness.
Staff Performances
Andrea Sitas, our Double Bass Specialist tutor will be playing Principal Bass this weekend with the Perth Symphony Orchestra and a cast of talented musical theatre stars in the Disney 100 Concert, which has been touring around Australia, celebrating magical moments of Disney animated film scores.
