Western Region Athletics Carnival

On Friday 28th July, a team of 5 students accompanied by Mr Wilson and Miss Emma, represented Anson Street School at the Western Region Athletics carnival in Dubbo.

It was a big day for the students competing in the 100m, 200m, shot put, discus and 

long jump. 

Congratulations to Dylan, Felicity and Chelsea on finishing in 1st or 2nd in their event which means they will compete in the State Athletics Championships that will be held in Sydney in September. We wish you all the very best and we know that you will do yourselves and the school very proud.

School Sport

Term 3 sport is off to a great start. Primary students are participating in Gymnastics at PCYC, Ten Pin Bowling and RDA. Sports for Secondary students include Ten Pin Bowling, Gymnastics at Central West Gymsports, Indoor Golf at Golfungym, walking, spa, RDA and multisports at school. Campus students are extremely lucky to have Terri Henderson come in and run functional fitness sessions.
