Our Highlights of Term 3

My highlights this term have been, the basketball tournament and division athletics because in both of them we got to go out and represent Miners Rest Primary School and verse other schools which was VERY fun and rewarding! - Arliah B

My favourite part about Term Three was going to the Melbourne Writers Festival because I got to meet famous Authors - Ellie B

My highlights of Term 3 were… 1: meeting Mrs Kennedy! 2: Gymnastics! 3: Meeting Nelly the doggo! & 4: Maths! - Ella B

My highlight for this term (Term 3) is being able to increase my knowledge of reading writing and math! 😃 - Declan D

Something outstanding about Term 3 was being invited and involved in the Melbourne Writers Festival and meeting Kirli Saunders, Katrina Nannestad, Gabrielle Wang, Eddie Woo! This was such a fantastic opportunity - Isabella K

A highlight for Term Three was learning about causes and effects of different natural disasters, because it was interesting finding out how the different disasters occur during Integrated Studies - Annie J

My favourite part of Term 3 was representing the school in Division Athletics and in my 100m sprint I came 3rd - Jackson M

Term 3 was a great term although writing the newspaper articles topped it all. It's wonderful writing a newspaper because we had to research, learn about real topics and teaching ourselves about these topics can mature us in a lot of ways, in the topic or just in general - Ruby S

The most and GREATEST rewards I have experienced throughout Term 3 diverge into many topics, from reading to even the bounds of history. Nevertheless I seem to gravitate towards the boundless topics about the magical, radical, fantastical world of writing! I have grown to gravitate towards this undeniable masterpiece of a topic, writing. Mainly because of the freedom it offers, to be able to affect one’s emotionally, mentally, and even physically, if moved enough. This has given me a mindset that makes me gravitate and lean more into enjoying this fabulous topic. Even while writing, myself could even feel the emotion in the writing of my own, and those that others have majestically written. I look forward for Term 4 and the holidays. I can’t wait to be on break. So have a good day! Oh I almost forgot. My 2nd favourite part is the teachers that have taught me throughout these times.
