Introducing Our New Gap Staff

Four gap staff, recent graduates from high school, will spend the year at Saints, working in the boarding program. We welcome the following people:

Costanza Dimuccio – We welcome Costanza who spent her senior years at the Marist School in Perth, Newman College. Costanza, from Italy, has only been in Australia for two years. She is looking forward to working with the girls in boarding and would also like to spend time in the classroom working with Ms Welsh helping teach Italian.

Hugo Blacker – Hugo completed Year 12 last year at Marist College Canberra where he was College Captain. Hugo plays a range of sports, has a passion for AFL and looks forward to pursuing this in Cairns in 2023.

Caden Egan – Caden also graduated from Marist College Canberra last year and has decided to spend a gap year working in boarding and experiencing Far North Queensland. He is also a keen AFL player and hopes to play club footy in Cairns.

Alyssa Fisher – Alyssa is also from Canberra and attended Lake Ginnenderra College. After competing in the National Hockey Carnival in Cairns last year, Alyssa was very interested in returning to Cairns to spend a gap year at Saints. Alyssa will work with the junior girls.

International Student Volunteer

Sava Thurber - Welcome to Sava who is from Boston in the USA. Sava finished high school last year and is excited about spending five months down under before heading home to start college. Sava, who will help in the boarding program in Term 1, is a gifted violinist and looks forward to contributing to the musical program.
