SAPSASA

Next term, some of our older students will participate in SAPSASA carnivals for soccer, basketball and athletics. It is a special opportunity for our students to represent Para Vista Primary School in SAPSASA and we recently received our new uniforms which will allow us to have consistency across all teams and create pride in being about to represent our school. We love our new design and so do our students!

Thank you to SANFL for a $500 grant to help us purchase our football guernseys and Prime Sports who assisted in designing all 3 sets and manufactured them in time for our term 3 carnivals.

Book Week 2023

Book Week will be held during Week 5 and the theme is "Read, Grow, Inspire". We will hold a parade during this week where students can come dressed in something that reflects the Book Week theme or as a character from a book. The school holidays is a really good time to think about a costume and share some of the shortlisted books, some of which are written by Adelaide authors.

Values Awards

This term we introduced Values Awards which will be announced at each assembly. Staff are looking to acknowledge students who are demonstrating any of our 3 values, Respect, Honesty and Courage, throughout the school day. This could be in learning time, when moving around the school or visiting different areas such as the office. Below are our winners from the week 9 assembly.
