Reconciliation Week In OSHC

National Reconciliation Week this term sparked lots of interest in learning about Indigenous culture. The children have been busy with individual and group craft activities they wanted to display on our multicultural wall. They particularly enjoyed listening to dreaming stories, making boomerangs and dot painting. As an extension of learning following a dreaming story called ‘How the Birds Got Their Colours’ the children wanted to make a giant rainbow bird together as a group project.
