Welcome back to Term 4
It has been a busy start to term 4 with all rehearsals back in full swing.
On Friday 14 October Stage Band 2 visited Lindfield East Public School for a combined band performance. If was a fabulous day with great performances.
On Monday 17 October Wesley W, Year 11 had his first rehearsal for the D'Arts Dance Ensemble in preparation for Schools Spectacular in November. It was a great day with lots of dancing.
PAE Student Achievements
This year we have 5 individually auditioned students + 21 students in our choir participating in Schools Spectacular 2022. Wesley W, Year 11, was selected to be a part of the D'Arts Dance Ensemble; Alyssa L, Year 11, successfully auditioned to be a featured dancer in the Contemporary Dance Ensemble; Braden L, Year 12, is a Featured Artist (Vocal); Leo W, Year 10, was selected as part of the Light and Sound team and Mitchell M, Year 12, successfully auditioned as the Drummer for the Schools Spectacular Stage Band. Congratulations to all students.

Light and Sound Excursion
On Monday 17 October, our wonderful Year 7 to 10 students in Light & Sound embarked on a very exciting excursion to Chatswood Concourse. We received a personalised tour and experienced the behind the scenes of the current professional production of Mamma Mia. We also learnt about the lighting and audio set up for a professional theatre and concert hall and even went up onto the gallery above the stage where all the lighting rigs are.
Thank you to Chatswood Concourse for allowing us to go behind-the-scenes and Mr Collins for showing us around. It was a wonderful and knowledgeable experience and we hope to do it again next year.
