Year 5/6 News

5/6 Arcade Game Day - Friday 4th November 

The Year 5 and 6 students are holding an Arcade Game Day on Friday 4th November. As part of a Technology and Design project, they have built working arcade games out of cardboard and other materials. 

On this day, all classes will be allocated a set time to play the arcade games for 40 minutes. Parents and the wider school community are invited to play the games from 2.30-3.20pm.

Tomorrow is the last day for students to buy a $1.00 ticket; the money from this event will help fund the Year 5/6 students' "Big Day Out" at the end of the year.

The Year 5/6 students were inspired by the YouTube video ‘Caine’s Arcade’, where an American boy made his own arcade out of cardboard.
