Interschool Swimming Carnival

A squad of 21 boys went to HBF Stadium on Thursday to represent the College at the JPSSA Interschool Swimming Carnival. Congratulations to all boys who swam on the day and for your preparation leading up to the event. Thank you to Mr Luke Thompson and Miss Adelaide Garland who coached and prepared the team.

6 White Christian Service visit to Shopfront

6 White took part in their Christian Service excursion to Shopfront in Bentley on Thursday.  The boys arrived at the facility at 9am and spent a short time exploring some of the purpose built areas. Damian Walsh shared many stories with the boys about the Shopfront and some of the circumstances some of the visitors face. The boys were surprised to find out about the number of Australians with unstable housing, including a large number of Western Australians under the age of 18. As always, Damian Walsh was welcoming and expressed his gratitude for the support Trinity College provides for the Shopfront.

Prefects Corner

By Jacob and Joel

This week has been quite interesting with the various things that occurred. This week, we had a long weekend for 4 DAYS! Saturday as usual but Sunday was clean up Australia Day, Monday was Labour Day which is a public holiday and Tuesday was development day and a teacher only day which meant another holiday for Trinity. Thursday was when the Year 6 White class went to go do Christian Service. Thursday was quite different this week, Sport was a bye because of the interschool swimmers who had been picked out from our swimming carnival. The rest of the JS were doing class sport. On Friday the students get to go home early at 12.45pm. So that means that this week was 2 and a half days!

It’s been a weird week with all the twists and turns, but we are sure that the students are loving such a short week and we are too. Make sure to stay on the newsletter frequently to check on any news or new articles of the Prefect Corner.
