Half-Day Transition

9am - 12pm  Wednesday 13th November 2019

Full Day Transition

9am - 3.10pm Tuesday 3rd December 2019

After a highly successful information evening last term, plans have been in place to introduce the incoming Year 7 students to the high school environment.

"The approaching transition days will involve a range of fun activities as well as getting to know Wee Waa High School, our teachers and other students. The students will participate in 'mini lessons' across a wide range of subjects to give them a taste of what high school can offer them', explained Year 7 2020 Adviser, Ms Jordan McCluskey.

'These transition days are planned with the aim of ensuring an easy and comfortable start to high school next year, where the students are excited about the new experiences that await them'.

'This also allows the students an opportunity to meet and bond with students from other schools that they may not be familiar with and to begin forming friendships for the coming school year'.

Staff and students are excited for the new cohort to enter Wee Waa High School and there will be a whole school BBQ lunch held on Tuesday 3rd December.
