Hi everyone!

Gardening Fun

“Look! Big fat caterpillars - eating our silverbeet!” Today we went on a hunt to discover what could be munching on our silverbeet. We discovered four enormous caterpillars! Much care was taken in transferring them to a new happy home under the trees, away  from our veggies! The students were excited to find buds on our edible flower plants and are looking forward to the novelty of eating the calendula flowers soon! We have been planting snow peas and strawberries. We learned about how to gently separate the roots and that different plants need different conditions and amounts of space. We would love to see any photos of our produce taken home being included in your dinner!  If you take a photo, please send to bnechwatal@tcs.catholic.edu.au.

Things we need!

Huge thanks to Jordan who brought in paper bags for us to take our yummy vegetables home in. We still need more. Please leave at the office, labelled “Miss Belinda”.

Thank you!
