Year 10 Outdoor Education

Year 10 Outdoor Education

The Year 10 Outdoor Education class headed out on their second practical excursion for the semester, heading to the Hardrock Climbing Gym in the CBD.  After donning safety harnesses and eagerly participating in an introduction to climber safety and the role of belayer (the person holding the other end of the rope), the students hit the walls!

Each student set their own challenge as they headed up the walls, some being satisfied with a few metres, others hitting the top of the 13 metre highest climbs!

A great experience  was had by all;  with trust, resilience and persistence being demonstrated in abundance by the group.
