Years 5-12 Swimming Carnival

The 5-12 swimming carnival was another successful event. It was great to see our students gathering all together again and enjoying the range of events and activities throughout the day. Our house and college leaders did a fantastic job in keeping the atmosphere high throughout the day. The inclusion of a range of dance offs to songs such as Baby Shark and the Macarena was brilliant to see!

Throughout the day many students involved themselves in the swimming events, boat races, ping pong scrambles and more. It concluded with the annual staff vs student relay which for the second year running, went the way of the students. Staff training sessions have already commenced to prepare for the athletics carnival relay.

All three houses finished on over 1000 points, which hasn't occurred for a long time. At the end of the day it was the Delany leaders Tom Lloyd and Darcy Backway holding the shield aloft and in the words of Tom 'rather than reading about history, we have gone and made it!'

Congratulations to all staff and students who made the day a successful one.

Loddon Mallee Swimming Finals

Sarah Whelan was our lone ranger who trekked to Swan Hill to compete in the Loddon Mallee swimming finals.

Sarah once again did our school and herself proud, placing 4th in the 100m Freestyle, 4th in the 50m Breaststroke and 4th in the 50m Freestyle.

Great work Sarah!
