Grace C participated in the Division Cross Country on June 7th at Yarra Glen and came 14th in the 12/13 girls and was an emergency to go to Region. What a super effort Grace and very well done.

Archie F represented GRPS at the Victorian State Team Trials over the weekend and won his events on both platform and springboard and made the Victorian State schools Diving Team.  Archie will now compete for Great Ryrie Primary at schools Australian Championships  in Brisbane in November.

Congratulations to the Southwood U/13’s netball team that won the grand final on Saturday 14-6. The team included Audrey Bakopoulos, Charlotte Bizley, Grace Cameron, Maddison Cullen, Haylee Elliott, Heidi Philpott, Mabel Ridge and Harper Smith. Congratulations to Evie Barr who also won her U/13’s netball grand final on Saturday 28 – 10 playing for Our Lady’s netball club.

Whole school swimming program – Monday 29th August – Friday 8th September (there will be no swimming lessons on Thursday 1st September)

District Athletics Day (Year 3-6 for those students that qualified) – Thursday 1st September
