"RACING HEARTS"

This 'Racing Hearts' VCE VET program is like no other and some of our VCAL students are lucky enough to be the only ones involved in this one-of-a-kind program that supports them through their teenage years and life's challenges moving forward into adulthood. HANDS ON LEARNING 

The building of the chicken fencing area has now been completed and is ready to paint.   We have been building new compost bins, created a new garden bed with mandarin and olive trees.  Our current project is the creation of a bird bath that will be installed outside the well-being area. We have added two new scarlet chested parrots into our aviary to join the budgies and finches.

VCAL students had a jam-packed day of of farm tours visiting two local farms, learning about how their business are run and how to manage operating costs of a business of such scale.
