Brotherhood of St Laurence : Saver Plus Update
An exciting update to Saver Plus eligibility. Parents, who are carers, may now be eligible to join Saver Plus and get up to $500 for education costs.
We at Saver Plus understand that carers have extra responsibilities, which means they are unable to work. So, we have expanded our income requirement to reflect this and have included Carers Payment as an eligible income
NATIONAL ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER CHILDREN'S DAY
Thursday 4 August 2022 is National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day and is Australia's national day dedicated to celebrating the strengths and culture of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
It is an opportunity for us to show our support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, as well as learn about the crucial impact that culture, family and community play in the life of every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child. Children’s Day has been run annually since 1988 and is the initiative of SNAICC – National Voice for our Children.
Watch as this year's Children's Day Ambassador Thomas Mayor talks about the 2022 theme and how you can celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day
