Weekend Mass Times

Saturday   5pm (Quirindi)                6:30pm (Werris Creek)

Sunday      8am (Willow Tree)         9:30am (Quirindi)

Twenty-ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time Year C, 16 October 2022.

The primary lesson from this week’s texts is to place our trust in God. In Luke 18: 1-8 Jesus told his disciples a parable about the need to pray continually and never lose heart.

October, the month of Mary

The month of October is dedicated to honouring the Holy Mother, Mary, in thanksgiving for her protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the rosary. Students and staff will be learning and praying the Rosary with special Rosary Beads from our Catholic Mission team in Armidale.

Josephite Companions Gathering

This Saturday 15th October, a special gathering of parishioners will meet in the Fr Stan Campbell Hall from 9am - 3pm.  They will be joined by Sr Carmel Drew RSJ from Narrabri who will be leading the day of prayer and reflection.  If you are interested, please contact Wendy Rheinberger for further details.  There is no cost and morning tea and lunch are provided.

Mission Month - October 2022

Students and staff at St Joseph's Primary School will be, once again, participating in raising funds to support Catholic Mission.

Catholic Mission

Our goal: food security and life-saving nutrition in Ethiopia

In 2022, students and their families across Australia will raise funds to support families in Ethiopia facing malnutrition and food insecurity. Our projects on the ground will help sustain and enrich the lives of vulnerable children who are in need of our support. Your support will keep them running.

Socktober for Mission Month

This year we are going 'online' and we are excited to share the following link that Mrs Rheinberger has set up for the school community.

Simply click on the link to donate to the school's fundraising page.  You can share this link with family and friends straight away - and all through the month of October.

In Week 3, Term 4 students will be learning more about Catholic Mission and supporting the focus country of Ethiopia.  A special event will also take place where Silly Socks and soccer skills will meet!!!

Special Request:

Students are to bring in donations of old rags, socks, or plastic bags and to contribute to their House Colour Teams "Sockballs".  Each class will have 1 of these mini wheelie bins to collect their donations outside each classroom door.

God bless,
