Year 1-2

My favourite things about the Wizard of Oz were the dances and costumes. (Molly)

My favourite thing was grooving and having fun. I love dancing.(Jamie)

My favourite thing was when Dorothy met the Scarecrow because I liked the Scarecrow dance. (Kendall)

My favourite thing was the whole school dance because we could all join in together. (Macie)

I liked performing as a munchkin because I got to jump up and down and say my lines. (Ryder)

Year 3-4

I was glad to be a main character and I was grateful for being a part of the production. I loved my gorgeous dress. I really wish we can do more of these plays.(Billie)

I was a lead role and I had lots of lines to learn. I am really proud of myself because it's a big thing to go out on stage. (Jorja)

The best thing was dancing in a crowded place with lots of people. It made me feel happy to see my family in the audience and how proud they were of me. (Hendrix)

I loved the Scarecrow and the Tinman because I liked watching their dances and talking with them. I also loved being Dorothy. Another thing was the lion dance. I enjoyed the high kicks and the fierce emotion. I loved the costumes (Rosie)

I was nervous at the start but it was fun. (Sieanna)

I had stage fright until different people complimented me and said I did a great job. I would love to do it again (Ricky -The Lion)

Year 5-6

My absolute favourite part was the stage experience. It has boosted my confidence. (Ayden)

I enjoyed the Tin Man dance the best as it was an awesome dance with all the songs and moves. My favourite part was the achy breaky heart bit. I also enjoyed being a narrator because I was on stage all the time. (Alex)

I liked the preparation and responsibility. I liked how we always had a job to do. I also enjoyed how we had to remember lines and where we needed to be. (Abbie)

The thing that challenged me the most was learning the lines. It was tricky at first but it got easier the more I practised. (Charles)

What I enjoyed the most was performing in front of everyone and learning my lines. Since it was fun I now want to be an actor and if I don’t do that I want to be a drama teacher.(Archie)
