Aboriginal Summer School for Excellence in Technology and Science (ASSETS)

Applications for the Aboriginal Summer School for Excellence in Technology and Science (ASSETS) opened  on Monday 3 June and will close Monday 24 June 2019.

ASSETS is a free nine-day summer school for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Year 10 students.

There are two summer schools held in January 2020. This is followed by a leadership program after the completion of the summer school. Support may include advice and opportunities to participate in cadetships or work placements within the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields. Students will also have the chance to stay in touch with friends they made at the summer school with a secure online forum for students to share news and ideas.

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Year 10 students who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) are eligible to apply.
