Our Great Vet results

We have a 100% successful completion rate for students who did one Year Vet courses in 2021.

The Certificate 2 Kitchen Operations Vet class, labelled by the TAFE Lecturer Nigel Stevens as a very good group, all successfully completed their Certificate 2 and earned themselves 40 SACE Credits. Congratulations to Madeline, Ebony, Lou, Riley, Charlie-Ann, Davina and Austin on their achievement.

The smells and quality of the food coming out of the Home Ec Centre on Fridays has been amazing.

Certificate 2 in Engineering Pathways students to successfully complete this training in 2021 are Levi and Brodie. This Vet course would normally take 18 months to complete but to their credit and with the support of a number of Tafe Lecturers Levi and Brodie finished in 12 months. Well Done boys.

A huge Thank you and Best Wishes for the Future to Roger Noble who for many years has been the Tafe Lecturer for the Certificate 2 in Engineering Pathways. Roger has decided to retire after what has been a challenging year for him. He leaves PHS with our grateful thanks for all that he has been prepared to do for both PHS students and students from Jamestown and Orroroo.

The Certificate 2 in Auto Servicing group continue for approximately 6 months of 2022 with every expectation that this group will also be successful in completing their Certificate.

The Vet course students have done provide hands on learning and SACE accreditation which for a large number of our students has helped them successfully complete their SACE Certificate. Parents wanting to find out more about what Vet courses are available and generally free foe PHS students can contact me at PHS on 86512306.

If there are any Community members interested in doing the Certificate 2 in Engineering Pathways or the Auto Light Vehicle Servicing in 2022, please contact me at Peterborough High School 86512306.
