Quality Learning and Teaching

Lauren Amey

Always at the end of the year it’s amazing to see how far our students have grown in their learning, not only their knowledge but their critical and creative thinking, their resilience in the class room and their ability to take risks with their learning.

This year staff have developed and deepened their skills to use data to provide quality differentiation and stretching student thinking to improve student outcomes which has been evident in our great NAPLAN, PAT results and A-E grade across our school. Definitely makes you PHS proud!!

I want to congratulate our student cohort on their continued commitment to their learning and their flexibility in the classroom in 2021.

Next year we have refined our assessment and reporting procedures.
