Transition and the new 2022 space for Year 7 + 8 students 

The Year 7 to High School space has been in the works for over 18 months. In Week 8, our transitioning students got to experience and spend time in their new spaces. These rooms will host the Year 7 and Year 8 home groups and core subjects for these students.

We have new whole school lockers, (thanks OzLockers), based around the school, in student home groups and the Student Services Hub. Student voice voted for rainbow colours which brings brightness and vibrancy to areas of the school. 

We have furnished seven spaces with brand new furniture, (thanks Troy from BFX), and the students are loving the collaborative spaces, adjustable tables and whiteboard tops; supporting students of all learning ranges. Our new whiteboards and smart TV's will be influential to learning in the 21st Century.  

Those who attended our Transition get Together got to explore and view all the great things PHS has to offer the young people of the future.

Day four of Transition in PHS Proud Week 

The Year 7 & 8 future students of PHS joined us in celebrating this week. They did Rock band with Ms Retelsdorf and puzzles and games with Ms Thomas.
