Students doing food service on Harmony Day

Harmony Week, a national campaign for the elimination of Racial Discrimination, aims to connect communities by fostering a sense of belonging for every-one and reflects our CSC values. Our cultural diversity is one of our greatest strengths and is at the heart of who we are as Australians, making it a great place to live for everyone who calls Australia home

On Tuesday 22nd March, CSC students and staff came together to celebrate Harmony Day with a lunch event infused with culture, food and dance, and fun activities such as face-painting and chalk art! Thank you to all students and staff who participated to make this a fun and engaging event!

Thank you also the SRC students for organising this event and sausage sizzle, and to the VCal & VET students for the magnificent spread of culturally inspired, tasty dishes to add to the experience!

Local dance instructors Camilla and Madeline from Milla Dance Studio, and their talented African drummers supported our event with a student workshop followed by a performance where some of our students let loose and joined in the dancing celebrations, creating a great vibe!

‘Milla Dance’ Studio is a local dance school with an awesome class calendar and array of services available! Check it out @ Castlemainedanceclasses | MillaDance.com | Castlemaine  or contact Camilla @ camiserra@gmail.com or phone: 0414972190
