The Westall Way Taster Day

On Wednesday 4th September, we hosted 230 students from Westall, Clayton South, Huntingdale, Spring Parks, Springvale Rise and St Peters Primary Schools for the Year 5 taster day. Students were given a snapshot of our EDI instructional model in literacy or numeracy, a peek at our Aim High program and half a day of following their passion in iCreate. The primary students enjoyed the day and got a great taste of life at WSC. Thank you to all Westall staff for your efforts throughout the day, thanks to the Primary School staff for bringing the students and a big shout out to Ms Paget and Ms Grey for organising a great day!  #learnthewestallway

Parks and Gardens SBAT 2020

The inaugural Parks & Gardens SBAT program has been a very successful one and as a result, we are now inviting EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST for the program in 2020.

The program provides an opportunity for students to combine a Certificate II in Parks & Gardens, with paid employment across Wednesday and Friday. The program takes place at school.

For information on the program and the required forms, go into Compass > School Documentation > Parks & Gardens SBAT. Feel free to find me to ask questions.

Year 7 Welcome Night

Year 7 Welcome Night: Thank you to our new Year 7 students and families for attending the event. We hope you feel confident and happy about your child joining us next year. Well done to the Junior School team for a smooth evening- we had over 2/3 of our new Year 7 families in attendance.

4Cs Performance

Congratulations to our students who represented Westall SC at the 4Cs showcase at Narre Warren on Tuesday evening. 4Cs stands for ‘Cultivating Creative Cultures with Communities’. Thank you to the staff that supported the students in preparing and performing in the show. Well done everyone!

WSC in The Australian

Congratulations to Zoi, Malaya and Monineath, who feature in an article on ‘Teens struggling in a hyper-digital world’. A great read and a very relevant topic.
