Road Awareness Program (RAP)

The South Australia Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) presented the Road Awareness Program (RAP) at Peterborough High School on Tuesday 26 July 2022. Year 11 and 12 students participated in this amazing program.

A firefighter from the MFS spoke with students about:

• good attitudes, smart decision making and safe behaviors

• the dangers of excessive speeds, distractions and driving under the influence

• being a responsible passenger and pedestrian

• becoming a responsible driver

• first-hand experience of the trauma suffered by all parties involved in both fatal and non-fatal road crashes

Flinders University Visit

Flinders University ran two presentations at Peterborough High School with our senior students on Thursday 28 July 2022. Year 10’s participated in the River Journey presentation and Year 11 and 12 participated in the Courses and Pathways presentation. Students received information packs and a copy of the booklets can be found in the Community Library.
