Phillip District Winter Lightning Premierships

On Wednesday the 22nd of June our year 5/6 students represented OLOF at the Phillip District Winter Lightning Premierships. These tournaments were played at various venues on the Mornington Peninsula. This Winter, we fielded two boys and one girls soccer teams, 6 table tennis double partners and a girls netball team.

It is so pleasing to see the enthusiasm and respect shown by all of our students when participating in Inter School Sports! These Winter Lightning Premierships were no exception! Well done to all of our students who participated, you did Fatima proud!

Special mentions -

The girls soccer team finished 1st, narrowly beating Red Hill PS on goal difference.

Luke C and Peter B finished 2nd overall in the Table Tennis competition.

Louis F and Dom F finished 3rd overall in the Table Tennis competition.

The boys B soccer team finished the day undefeated, winning the B competition.

The girls soccer team has progressed to the Southern Peninsula Division playoffs which will be held on Monday the 22nd of July at Casey Fields. We wish you the very best of luck!
