'Seeing the world through a different lens.'

Pick Up 3

Chloe D, Yr 2, was photographed with locals at an Indonesian beach sharing and promoting her knowledge about Pick Up 3 and her love and respect for our ocean. Dolphins live in the water there too along side big turtles.  Picking Up 3 helps many marine animals.

We are trying to embed the behaviour of Pick Up 3 wherever we go and make it a life long habit.  When students go on holidays could you please send us a photo of them 'picking up 3' to add to our local meets global focus. Thank you.

Recycling Focus for SCHOOL for Term 3

  • The art room would love plastic butter containers. Please save and send to school.
  • Sadly our chickens at school were taken by a fox. Students had been giving their food scraps to the chickens to minimise food waste and therefore reduce green house gases.
  • Please encourage your child to bring home uneaten fruit or food so it can go into your compost bin or be eaten at another time. It is sad to see perfect apples in our school bins.

Recycling Focus for HOME for Term 3

Please remove plastic lids from bottles before popping them into the recycling bin.

Milk and water bottles are not recycled if the lid is attached as they are different types of plastic .

Please send in any recipes that minimise food wastage.   Those Winter  casseroles and soups  are great for emptying the veggie crisper. No recipe required.

First Nations Art Inspiration

Years 3 and 4 have been doing beautiful Aboriginal inspired, line drawings that tell a story.  They have learnt several animal and place symbols and learnt how to put them together to make stunning designs.

Pictured is Thomas, Alexander, Josias and Miron’s wonderful work.
