Year 12 Final Week Activities

On Monday October 21st, the Year 12 students attended the Annual Mystery Excursion Celebration Day. This year the excursion took them to Funfields in Whittlesea, where they had the chance to experience theme park rides, water slides and many other fun activities. It was a fantastic day, enjoyed by all the students and staff who attended.

On Tuesday October 22nd, the final Year 12 Assembly was held. Families of the Class of 2019 were invited to attend, as well as all HPSC staff and students.

After the Acknowledgment of Country by Tyson G and a performance of the National Anthem by Ana A, Principal Wayne Haworth greeted the community and farewelled the Year 12 students.

The Assembly included thank you's and presentations to the Student Leadership Team, performances from Year 12's and a special video surprise from the Staff.

After the Assembly, the Year 12 students and their families partook in a morning tea prepared for them by the Year 10 Food Studies students.

Before the Class of 2019 moved into the Final Assembly in Period 2, they attended a celebration presentation solely for the Year 12 students.

Part of this included watching a video recapping the Staff V Students Comp and looking back at all the events they participated in throughout the year, as well as an informal awards ceremony with personalised awards from the Senior School Staff.

Marketplace Book & Uniform Sale

Saturday 30 November

For the past twenty years the Parent Network has worked endless hours in preparing for and staffing the annual HPSC Book Sale.

Previously this was one of the major fundraising events for the Parent Network however with the reliance on laptops and the reduced need for textbooks, in 2018 the school signed up for the Sustainable Book Shop which did not have the benefits of supporting our community that we were hoping for.

This year the Parent Network would like to trial a new method for supporting families in selling used books and uniform through a Marketplace concept. All funds raised will be used to support student learning.

The Marketplace will be held on Saturday 30 November from 9.00am-12.00pm in E Block at Hampton Park Secondary College.  All information is contained in the flier below.

Booklists and books that can be re-sold will be shared when this becomes available.
