Parkrun

Xavier (1K) has been highlighted on the Parkrun website for achieving a milestone of 10 parkrun events! Xavier is a speedy junior who runs with his Dad. Xavier has recorded 6 personal bests. His fastest time is 28:18, which is pretty impressive for a seven year old. Xavier has run at Karkarook 9 times and at Chelsea Bicentennial once. Xavier has also volunteered for Parkrun on 4 occasions.

Xavier told me that he loves beating his personal best times and this is all training for Cross Country when he gets a bit older. Well done Xavier and keep up the dedication!

District Athletics Carnival

Last Wednesday, 50 students in Years 4-6 represented Kingswood at the Mordialloc District Athletics Carnival. Students had progressed from our school carnival which was a very good achievement in itself. Despite the wet weather in the afternoon, all students had a great time and put on their best performances in a range of events. Well done to all students. Thank you to our parent helper - Dorit - and to Mrs Paguio & Mr Kato for assisting on the day.
