The Zoo Comes to You!

Brianna 1H

1H was split into three groups 1J, 1K, and 1S. We had an incursion where a zoo person comes to you. We got to see stick insects and a spider. We had to sit in a semi circle. We also got to see a kind of crab. We also saw a millipede and centipede and the centipede was one that had antennae on the back. Antennae on the back protect the centipede because then predators will think that it has 2 heads so its easier to kill predators. Centipedes and Millipedes have 400 legs. They grow 4 legs every time  they grow. Centipede grow 2 legs every time they grow. Millipedes and Centipedes are not an insect because they have too much legs they are millipedes. We got to see the biggest cockroaches in the wold. Centipedes and millipedes do not have a skeleton. An insect has to have an exo-skeleton but centipedes and millipedes slide around. We also got to see phasmids. Most people don't get to see phasmids because they live on Lord Howe Island.

One freezing day we were split into three classes. I was in 1S we were the last one for the incursion. So while we were waiting we did science. I made a butterfly. Mrs Cooper really liked it, I thought she thought it was the best. After lunch we went to our incursion in the performing arts room. We saw a zoo keeper then I saw a sign that said zoo comes to you.

On Thursday, we had an incursion. We saw insects that are Miny Beast and animals. I loved it and if I got to admit it, it was pretty scary.

I like the towny frogmouth because I like his frog mouth and I like his huge wings flapping. We all got to touch the Towny frogmouth.
