Congratulation William Martin 7P

William Martin recently competed in the Under 13 John Fitzgerald Cup, held at Portland Lawn Tennis Club, with his team.

William competed for the East Gippsland Region Team, his team coming 5th overall, achieving the highest they have in the last few years.

William's highlights from the trip were when he was playing doubles with his partner, they were down 4- love, it was William's serve, he bought it back and they ended up wining by 6-4. William also enjoyed being interviewed by Tennis Victoria.

William learnt from his time competing to not give up when things aren't going right and to keep fighting.

Year 7 Camp

Year 7 Camp is fast approaching.

Congratulations Latrell Harrison 7N

Latrell has been selected to represent Victoria in the Indigenous team competing at the Under 14's Australian Basketball Championships in Cairns. Latrell was the only person in the East Gippsland region to be selected.

Latrell is looking forward to representing Victoria in December, he is also looking forward to going to Cairns for the first time.

Latrell has also been selected in Hawthorn's Indigenous Academy Team as has Hayden Cooper, Noah Rutherford and Peter Harrison. The Academy plays games of football against Richmond's Indigenous Academy Team on December 1st.

We wish the best of luck to the boys representing Hawthorn and to Latrell competing in Cairns.
