'I Belong in Art and Design' Excursion to Melbourne

On the 23rd of October a group of Year 9 and 10, aspiring designers and artists went to RMIT for a 1 day workshop.  The RMIT ‘I Belong in Art and Design’ workshop engaged students from regional areas to consider a university pathway to a career In the arts. The day was jam packed with exciting, creative and hands on workshops. Leaving the student’s inspired and opening their eyes to a university education. There were three workshops throughout the day, we kicked the day off with a visual arts workshop, then moved to an animation workshop and finished with a graphic design workshop. The workshops were lead by inspiring and experienced lectures and professionals in these three fields. It was a fantastic day and I would encourage any students wanting a career in the arts to sign up next year, for ‘I Belong in Art and Design 2020’. Ms Hawkins
