Open Evening - Market Stall

Students from Year 10 Agriculture and Horticulture Studies and Year 9 Agriculture and Environment Studies ran a market stall for the Aitken Community as part of the Open Evening Event which was held on Tuesday 25 October. The market stall consisted of produce that was grown by students as part of their Sustainable farming and Sustainable egg production units, as well as seedlings that the students had propagated from seeds.

Poppy plants – Remembrance Day

Students from the Sustainability team were selling poppy plants this week for Remembrance Day to honour those who’ve served and sacrificed.  The poppy plants were propagated and grown by the students in Agriculture. Money raised will be donated to the RSL.
